Evidence-based clinical knowledge
Clarity Informatics provide products to assist users through the rigours of processes, as well as knowledge bases to build upon the foundations of learning. We provide up-to-date information to support safe decision making and improve the standards of patient care. With practical guidance devised from rigorously reviewed and researched evidence, we provides a useful resource to aid healthcare professionals in the form of topics.
Our clinical content
Our topics form the clinical content for the Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) service, provided by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). The ontologies we provide offer guidance for over 1000 real life clinical situations through first contact and primary care. The Clinical Knowledge Summaries are designed to guide users through reaching a diagnosis, searching available treatment options and knowing when to refer for specialist assessment or management.
Who is it for?
The clinical content is designed to assist GPs, GP registrars, nurses and pharmacists in primary care organisations. It may also be useful for healthcare librarians, medical, nursing and pharmacy students, Walk-in centre and A&E department staff. Our clinical content is regularly reviewed, updated and expanded to keep up with the changing healthcare world and ensure that the information is relevant and concise.
As well as our clinical content, we also provide drug monographs that include all relevant clinical information on over 3100 prescribable chemicals; over 1000 combinations of chemicals and all the 75,159 products. Medication review and management is made readily available and connects well with the information of our Clinical Knowledge Summaries.
