What is Medication Review?

Medication Review (MR) is an internationally unique and innovative product which links to an electronic patient record and reviews the management of diagnosed conditions and the safety of the prescribed medication. The system enables the aggregation of clinical management and prescribing activity into organisationally or geographically based searchable summaries (Dashboards) to monitor and manage quality in healthcare. The historical patient record is analysed and data can be sent to the practice or accessed through secure online pages. Reports can be created on specific and graded interactions between medications, as well as generating alerts on patient conditions and addressing where current products are missing.

Who is Medication Review designed for?

Medication Review is aimed at assisting prescribers, reviewers and managers of prescribing. In addition, it can be useful for auditors of the quality of prescribing and clinical care and commissioners of healthcare. The system has been designed to fit into the NHS and healthcare systems around the world.
